To celebrate 20 years of TWEWY in 2027, Show and Tris are organizing a Multi-Animator Project to re-animate the cutscenes of TWEWY and NEO TWEWY with the help of volunteer artists, animators, and editors!

RULES

  • No use of materials made with generative AI in all phases of the production under any circumstance.

  • No plagiarism. Tracing existing sources such as the in game sprites and animations and ripping off from the game assets is strictly forbidden.

  • No hateful rhetoric (homophobic, transphobic, sexist, racist, ableist, etc.) as this is a game that celebrates unique identities and differences.

  • No drama. If you have issues with other members within the production, please keep it to your private spaces. Unless there is substantial evidence that they have harmed real people, we will be moved to act and eject them from the project.

  • No NSFW (nudity, gore, explicit content, etc.). Keep it PG.

REQUIREMENTS

  • To minimize delays, we will assign ONE RE-ANIMATED SCENE PER CONTRIBUTOR. Production for an additional contribution will only be granted after the assigned cutscene is finished.

  • 16:9 Video Resolution: At least 2000px x 1125px for camera pans,etc.; Will be sized down to 1920px1080px in the final product

  • 12 FPS, this will be upgraded to 24 FPS if time allows.

CONTENT

  • For 3D Models of characters, items, and backgrounds, they must not be ripped-off from the game assets.

  • TWEWY OCs/AUs can be included but must be grayed out like a crowd sprite

  • WIP Previews can be posted as long as it's 30% of the visual crop. For animated previews, keep it to 1 frame. This also applies to premium membership platforms such as Patreon, Youtube, etc.

  • You retain full rights to the animation/contribution even after the project releases. Please avoid posting it before the release date of the animation project.

  • We will check-in monthly but we will need actual progress done every 2 months. Kindly refer to the schedule for more details.
